The Manville Business and Professional Association (MBPA) was formed in 1992 by business owners seeking to protect the interests of the business community and contribute to its economic well being. This is accomplished through monthly meetings, close communication with township officials and various projects throughout the year.

Monthly Meetings
The first Monday of every month members unite to discuss the most recent developments in the local business climate as well as issues on a state or national level that impact businesses in Manville. In addition, members support and encourage each other in a spirit of cooperative competition. The MBPA recognizes that the success and growth of all businesses in town benefits the business community as a whole. As such, it is not uncommon for members to share success stories, give referrals, and provide advice to help the business community grow.
Currently the meetings are held at 7:00pm at the VFW Hall on Washington Ave., Manville, NJ.

Attracting Customers
Attracting more shoppers to Manville is a top priority of the MBPA. Throughout the year the MBPA contributes to and supports various projects that enhance the overall image of the community.

Beautification Projects
Thanks to the MBPA new signs now welcome shoppers to Manville. The beautification project was partially supported by a $8,500 tree donation by the MBPA.

The Manville Business Directory, produced by the MBPA, provides residents with vital community information as well as informs readers of the many business opportunities Manville presents.

A quarterly newsletter communicates the latest developments and issues affecting the business community of Manville.

Street Fair
The Manville Street Fair, started in 1993, is a one of the most successful projects the MBPA undertakes each year. Once a year, the town comes alive with family fun and entertainment for all. The Street Fair has experienced tremendous growth and for many it serves as a wonderful introduction to all that Manville has to offer.

Holiday Decorations
During the Holiday season, the MBPA helps shoppers get into the spirit with decorations and lights making Manville an attractive holiday shopping destination.

Liaison Committee
The MBPA Liaison Committee maintains a close relationship with the Mayor and Council through frequent meetings to discuss planning, developments, beautification and other projects that impact the interests of the business community.
